Below are the films I’ve worked on were during my time at the School of Filmmaking at UNCSA (2013-2017). I tried to participate in as wide a variety as I could manage on the type of projects there.

Supernova (2017)
“Supernova” was a 9-minute animated senior film I produced at UNCSA during my senior year. This short is about a boy who goes on an adventure to retrieve the videotape of his favorite space action hero. For more information about this project, check out its website here! This short has screened at Full Bloom Film Festival 2017, Cucalorus Film Festival 2017, and the Austin Film Festival of 2017.
As producer on this project, my responsibilities included:
• Organizing and facilitating meetings
• Assisted in story development and discussions
• Scheduling and facilitating voice over auditions and recordings
• Updating and helping execute the shooting schedule
• Assisting with sound design
Coffee: An Opera (2017)
“Coffee: An Opera” was a 13-minute project that served as a collaboration between the school of music and film. The music and story was created by the school of music, and the production and direction handled by students in the school of film. I hopped on as a producer and 1st Assistant Director. The short is a slice-of-life about 3 stories that take place all during the same time in the same place–a local coffee shop.
As producer and 1st assistant director on this project, my responsibilities included:
• Organizing and facilitating meetings
• Overseeing proper on-set etiquette
• Updating and executing the shooting schedule
• Directing on and off set procedures
• Cultivating team morale and a healthy workplace environment (10-person crew)
• Enforcing set safety
The Shore (2016)
“The Shore” was a 2-minute experimental VFX project I produced at UNCSA during my junior and senior year. This project served as a VFX class exercise that showcased all the different schools at UNCSA (Drama, Music, Dance, Design & Production, and Film) in a dream-like and visually engaging fashion.
As producer on this project, my responsibilities included:
• Organizing and facilitating meetings
• Creating and presenting production packets
• Creating and updating production budget
• Directing flow of communication between departments during pre-production and post production
Straggler (2017)
“Straggler” was a 15-minute senior film I worked on as the 1st Assistant Director at UNCSA during my senior year. This short is a sci-fi thriller about a seasoned ghost-hunter who has to face her most difficult challenge yet–a young boy who was left behind.
As 1st assistant director on this project, my responsibilities included:
• Organizing and facilitating meetings
• Assisted in story development and discussions
• Creating and presenting production packets
• Interviewing and hiring team members
• Overseeing proper on-set etiquette
• Updating and executing the shooting schedule
• Directing on and off set procedures
• Cultivating team morale and a healthy workplace environment (60-person crew)
• Enforcing set safety
Broken (2016)
“Broken” was a 15-minute senior film I worked on as the 1st Assistant Director at UNCSA during my junior year. This short was a civil war drama about a boy who comes home from the war to a broken family.
As 1st assistant director on this project, my responsibilities included:
